Sly has been regarded as a "master in watercolor" since the young age of 18. Pigment in water is a favorite as his works appeared in galleries and collections including reputable private collections, one man shows and museum exhibits.

'Coffee on Knob Hill" explores a favorite morning of satisfaction and luxury experienced high above San Francisco Bay at the exquisite Fairmont Hotel on Knob Hill.

This image was photographed and painted from in the first year of what I considered myself to be an actual professional career adult.

Soon after my first one man gallery show at 17, I traveled to San Fransisco where I met with gallery owners about my work and congregated with popular collected artists including Russian artist Zoya Frolova. In celebration of this special time in my life, I began painting this keystone moment.
